Reflex #7
The sculpture Reflex #7 is part of a series dealing with reflective surfaces. Each high-gloss surface offers countless views of the real space reflected in it, depending on the position of the viewer and the incidence of light. Sometimes the reflections are purely abstract. Reflex #7 consists of 27 copper plates printed with an abstract motif from a reflective photographic paper work. The copper plates lie in a wave pattern on the floor, so that the incident light on the shiny copper already creates a new movement.
Liquids
The photo-series Liquids was created for the exhibition forever and ever at the old museum in Mönchengladbach. On the ground floor, there was a dance hall that was covered with mirror foil. The photographs are abstract. They capture both the reflections of light and the old master-like heaviness of the room.
